I loved that this was a private via ferrata, built by climbers, and available only for customers of Basecamp (not available to the general public, or unguided). I always felt safe on the climb, but never felt like I sacrificed the fun for it."
Basecamp Ouary is a must if your coming to town and want to experience the Via feratta or rock climbing. I suggest you request Suzanna as your guide, she's very professional safe and will make the journey memorable.
"With the help of Base Camp we checked off a bucket list item this summer! Gold Mountain via ferrata was such a cool experience! Since it was our first via ferrata we were actually going to do an easier route in the canyon in Ouray. But once we got to Base Camp our guide Suzanna hyped us up to do Gold Mountain and I’m SO glad we did!! It was exhilarating and little nerve wracking at times but by the end we had it down and I didn’t want it to be over."
